RESCUERS WERE CALLED TO NORTHWEST LAWRENCE COUNTY LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT ON A REPORT THAT AN ELDERLY MALE WAS MISSING NEAR THE LAUREL WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA.  ACCORDING THE SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT, A MALE SUBJECT WAS RIDING A LAWN MOWER ON VFW ROAD AROUND SUNDOWN, BECAME SEPARATED FROM THE MOWER, AND REPORTEDLY FELL DOWN A HILL.  MEMBERS OF A HOST OF VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENTS, SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES, THE TWRA, AND LAWRENCE COUNTY EMS RESPONDED TO THE AREA.  THE VICTIM WAS FOUND A SHORT TIME LATER AND WAS REPORTEDLY IN GOOD CONDITION.
