THE LAWRENCE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY WILL MEET ON THURSDAY IN THE OLD JAIL MUSEUM ON WATERLOO STREET.  THE SPEAKER WILL BE ASHLEY ARMSTRONG, THE LAWRENCE COUNTY ARCHIVIST, WHO WILL BE GIVING A PRESENTATION OVER VILLAGE TWO, WHICH WAS BUILT IN 1918 DURING WORLD WAR 1 TO HOUSE PERSONNEL NEAR NITRATE PLANT 2 IN MUSCLE SHOALS. THE MEETING IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN AT 6:30.  MEMBERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND AND GUESTS ARE INVITED.
