A ROUTINE TRAFFIC STOP LED TO A DRUG ARREST LATE LAST WEEK IN HOHENWALD.  ACCORDING TO A PRESS RELEASE, OFFICERS WITH HOHENWALD POLICE DEPARTMENT CONDUCTED A ROUTINE TRAFFIC STOP ON AN ATV BEING DRIVEN ON THE ROADWAY. FOLLOWING FURTHER INVESTIGATION, THE DRIVER WAS FOUND TO BE IN POSSESSION OF 16.2 GRAMS OF MARIJUANA, A USED METH PIPE, 7.6 GRAMS OF METHAMPHETAMINE, AND DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE. IT APPEARS THE DRIVER WAS JUST ABOUT TO ENTER THE SOUTH CENTRAL AREA FAIR WITH THE DRUGS THAT WERE IN POSSESSION.
