DISTRICT ATTORNEY FOR THE 22ND JUDICIAL DISTRICT, BRENT COOPER, TOOK TO SOCIAL MEDIA THIS WEEK TO ALERT CITIZENS OF A SCAM ON FACEBOOK.  ACCORDING TO THE POST, IF YOU RECEIVE A MESSAGE THROUGH THE SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLET WITH A PICTURE OF YOUR PROFILE WITH THE CAPTION IS THIS YOU VIDEO?  DO NOT CLICK ON IT.  IT IS A SCAM THAT WILL ENABLE SOMEONE TO STEAL YOUR DATA AND USE YOUR PROFILE.  THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU ADVISES AS A RULE OF THUMB, IF YOU RECEIVE UNSOLICITED MESSAGES WITH CONTENT YOU WERE NOT EXPECTING, DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS.  DELETE THE MESSAGE.  IF YOU ARE UNSURE WHETHER OR NOT IT'S A SCAM, CONTACT THE SENDER DIRECTLY TO SEE IF THEY SENT YOU THE MESSAGE.
