THE TENNESSEE STATE REVIEW BOARD WILL MEET ON WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 18TH TO EXAMINE PROPOSED NOMINATIONS TO THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES.  AMONG THE EIGHT BEING CONSIDERED, TWO ARE IN THE LOCAL AREA.  THE BANK OF LORETTO IN LAWRENCE COUNTY AND THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH IN MARSHALL COUNTY.  THOSE NOMINATED ARE FOUND TO MEET THE CRITERIA TO BE PLACED ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES WHICH IS THE NATION'S OFFICIAL LIST OF CULTURAL RESOURCES WORTHY OF PRESERVATION.  FOR MORE INFORMATION VISIT TN HISTORICAL COMMISSION DOT ORG.
