A WAYNE COUNTY COUPLE WAS ARRESTED AND FACES DRUG CHARGES AFTER A SEARCH WARRANT WAS EXECUTED LAST WEEK.  ACCORDING TO MEDIA SOURCES, DEPUTIES WITH THE WAYNE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT RESPONDED TO A CALL ON COLLINWOOD HIGHWAY IN REFERENCE TO PEOPLE ALLEGEDLY USING DRUGS IN THE HOME AND OUTBUILDING AT THE ADDRESS.  THE SEARCH YIELDED GLASS PIPES WITH METHAMPHETAMINE RESIDUE AND A PLASTIC BAG CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY 3.1 GRAMS OF MARIJUANA.  THREE CHILDREN WERE IN THE HOME AT THE TIME AND HAD ACCESS TO THE AREAS WHERE THE ITEMS WERE LOCATED. JERRY WAYNE COPELAND, JR., 33, OF COLLINWOOD, FACES THREE CHARGES OF RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT AND ONE CHARGE OF POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. ANNA WALKER COPELAND, 32, OF COLLINWOOD, FACES THREE CHARGES OF RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT AND ONE CHARGE OF SIMPLE POSSESSION/CASUAL EXCHANGE.  BOTH WERE BOOKED INTO THE WAYNE COUNTY JAIL ON 10 THOUSAND DOLLARS BOND EACH.
