THREE MAURY COUNTY HIGH SCHOOLS HAVE BEEN AWARDED TENNESSEE PATHWAYS CERTIFICATION.  ACCORDING TO MAURY COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM, COLUMBIA CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL, CULLEOKA UNIT SCHOOL AND SPRING HILL HIGH SCHOOLS HAVE ALL EARNED THE CERTIFICATION WHICH RECOGNIZES HIGH SCHOOLS THAT HAVE DEVELOPED CLEAR AND GUIDED PATHWAYS FOR THEIR STUDENTS THAT ARE BUILT UPON PARTNERSHIPS AMONG K-12, POST SECONDARY EDUCATION, AND EMPLOYERS. A SUCCESSFUL NURSING SERVICES PROGRAM AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS AT THESES SCHOOLS HELPED IN RECEIVING THIS SCHOOL LEVEL DISTINCTION. THE THREE SCHOOLS WERE AMONG 74 HIGH SCHOOLS IN THE STATE TO RECEIVE THE RECOGNITION. ALL SCHOOLS SERVING GRADES 9 THOROUGH 12 IN TENNESSEE WERE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY AND MORE THAN 400 APPLICATIONS WERE SUBMITTED FROM 81 SCHOOL DISTRICTS ACROSS THE STATE
