THE TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES  IS WORKING TO FIND MORE PARTNERS NEXT YEAR TO SERVE AS SPONSORS OF THE CHILD AND ADULT CARE FOOD PROGRAM.  ACCORDING TO A PRESS RELEASE, APPLICATIONS FOR ORGANIZATIONS TO TAKE PART IN THE PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES MEALS TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS WHO MEET REQUIREMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED FROM NOW UNTIL AUGUST 1ST.  POTENTIAL SPONSORS INCLUDE: LICENSED CHILD CARE CENTERS; HEAD START PROGRAMS; EMERGENCY SHELTERS PROVIDING RESIDENTIAL AND FOOD SERVICES TO CHILDREN; FAMILY CHILD CARE HOMES; AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS AND ADULT DAY CARE CENTERS.  FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THE FEDERALLY FUNDED PROGRAM GO TO T-N DOT GOV SLASH HUMAN SERVICES.  ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE APPROVED PRIOR TO SEPTEMBER 30.
