A TRAFFIC STOP RESULTED IN A DRUG ARREST WEDNESDAY NIGHT IN GILES COUNTY.  ACCORDING TO REPORTS, A TROOPER WITH THE TENNESSEE HIGHWAY PATROL INITIATED THE STOP JUST AFTER 9 PM.  CHRISTOPHER HARRIS, 48, OF ALABAMA, WAS ARRESTED AND FACES CHARGES OF DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE, SCHEDULE 1 DRUG VIOLATION, UNLAWFUL DRUG PARAPHERNALIA AND FIREARM USED IN DANGEROUS FELONY. HARRIS WAS BOOKED INTO THE GILES COUNTY JAIL.  HE IS SCHEDULED TO APPEAR IN GENERAL SESSION COURT ON JANUARY 14TH.
