A SEARCH WARRANT IN LAWRENCE COUNTY LAST WEEK LED TO MULTIPLE ARRESTS ALONG WITH THE SEIZURE OF DRUGS AND MONEY. ACCORDING TO A PRESS RELEASE, DEPUTIES WITH THE LAWRENCE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT EXECUTED THE WARRANT AT A SUSPECTED DRUG HOUSE ON WEDNESDAY AFTER INVESTIGATORS HAD RECEIVED A HOST OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT POSSIBLE ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES HAPPENING AT THE RESIDENCE.  OFFICERS DISCOVERED A HOST OF DRUGS, INCLUDING POSSIBLE METHAMPHETAMINE, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, AND AN ESTIMATED 25 THOUSAND DOLLARS IN CASH.  SARA HELEN HUNT, 33 AND TAMMY SUE BUTLER, 46, WERE ARRESTED AND BOOKED INTO THE LAWRENCE COUNTY JAIL. HUNT FACES CHARGES OF POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA AND POSSESSION OF SCHEDULE II FOR RESALE WHILE BUTLER FACES TWO CHARGES, POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA AND VIOLATION OF PROBATION. MORE ARRESTS PERTAINING TO THIS CASE ARE POSSIBLE. DUE TO THE PROPERTY’S LOCATION AND TERRAIN, DEPUTIES REQUESTED THE ASSISTANCE OF THE LAWRENCEBURG FIRE DEPARTMENT’S DRONE AND INFRARED CAMERA ON THE NIGHT OF THE OPERATION.
