TWO STUDENTS WERE TRANSPORTED TO MAURY REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER THIS MORNING AFTER A FIRE AT COX MIDDLE SCHOOL ON BEAR CREEK PIKE IN COLUMBIA.  ACCORDING TO THE DAILY HERALD, THE FIRE WAS CAUSED BY AN EIGHTH GRADE SCIENCE EXPERIMENT AND THE TWO INDIVIDUALS SUFFERED FROM PANIC ATTACKS.  NO INJURIES WERE REPORTS AND ALL OF THE STUDENTS WERE EVACUATED WHILE CREWS WORKED ON THE SCENE.
