MAURY COUNTY’S SCHOOL BOARD WILL HOLD A SPECIAL CALLED MEETING TODAY TO ACT ON SUPERINTENDENT CHRIS MARCZAK’S CONTRACT WITH THE DISTRICT. ACCORDING TO THE DAILY HERALD, TWO ITEMS ARE ON THE MEETING'S AGENDA: THE POSSIBLE RENEWAL, NON RENEWAL AND OR REMOVAL OF THE SUPERINTENDENT'S CONTRACT AND ACTIONS IN THE EVENT THAT THE CONTRACT IS NOT RENEWED. THE MEETING WILL BEGIN 6 P.M. AT HORACE O. PORTER SCHOOL IN COLUMBIA AFTER THE BOARD’S MONTHLY WORK SESSION. THERE WILL NOT BE A PUBLIC COMMENT PORTION TO THE MEETING.
