THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS CONFIRMED A TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN IN THE TENNESSEE VALLEY WEDNESDAY NIGHT. STORM EVALUATION TEAMS DETERMINED THURSDAY THAT AN EF-1 TORNADO HIT NORTHERN LAUDERDALE COUNTY AND TOUCHED DOWN IN THE GREEN HILL COMMUNITY  NEAR THE STATE LINE.  THE TWISTER CONTINUED THROUGH SOUTHERN LAWRENCE COUNTY WHERE IT WAS REGISTERED AS EFO WITH 85 MILES PER HOUR WINDS. THIS TORNADO JOINS TWO EF 1 TWISTERS WITHIN A WEEK IN LAWRENCE COUNTY.
