A GILES COUNTY MAN WAS ARRESTED OVER THE WEEKEND AND FACES ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGES. OFFICERS WITH THE PULASKI POLICE DEPARTMENT WERE DISPATCHED TO SOUTHERN TENNESSEE REGIONAL HOSPITAL PULASKI IN REFERENCE TO A PERSON WHO HAD BEEN SHOT SHORTLY AFTER 4 PM ON SATURDAY. THROUGH THE COURSE OF AN INVESTIGATION IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE VICTIM, IDENTIFIED AS 49 YEAR OLD KELVIN RANDOLPH, HAD BEEN SHOT BY FRANK JAMES RANDOLPH, 66, OF PULASKI. THE VICTIM WAS LATER AIRLIFTED TO VANDERBILT MEDICAL CENTER WHERE HE UNDERWENT SURGERY. FRANK JAMES RANDOLPH WAS BOOKED IN TO THE GILES COUNTY JAIL.
