THE LAWRENCE COUNTY COMMISSION RECONVENED WEDNESDAY NIGHT VIA TELECONFERENCE.  THE MEETING BEGAN WITH LEADERS REVISTING A RESOLUTION REGARDING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG REGARDING THE SOUTHERN TENNESSEE HIGHER EDUCATION CENTER WHICH BROUGHT MUCH DISCUSSION TUESDAY NIGHT BEFORE THEY RECESSED. NEW INFORMATION WAS RECEIVED EARLIER WEDNESDAY FROM THE CITY REGARDING ADDITIONAL CHANGES TO THE AGREEMENT AND IT WAS VOTED TO SEND IT BACK TO THE FACILITIES AND BUDGET COMMITTEES.  RESOLUTIONS TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE CITY OF ST. JOSEPH FOR THE BATHROOM PROJECT AT THE PARK WAS APPROVED ALONG WITH RESOLUTIONS REGARDING EDUCATION INCENTIVE PAYMENTS TO FULL TIME EMPLOYEES AND COMMISSIONERS AND TO HIRE A CONSULTANT FOR A NEW SECURITY CAMERA SYSTEM AT THE JAIL. RESOLUTIONS TO AUTHORIZE CONSTRUCTION FOR A NEW ENTRANCE OFF OF HIGHWAY 64 FOR THE EDUCATION CENTER PASSED AND BEFORE LEADERS ADJOURNED A RESOLUTION TO RENAME A PORTION OF EAGLE FACTORY ROAD DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE COLLEGE TO SOUTHERN TENNESSEE LANE WHICH SAW MUCH FAVOR.
