A SUMMERTOWN MAN WAS APPREHENDED THURSDAY IN CONNECTION WITH THE DOUBLE HOMICIDE THAT OCCURRED EARLIER THAT MORNING IN LAWRENCEBURG. EMERGENCY PERSONNEL WERE DISPATCHED AROUND 3:45 AM TO 405 OAK STREET IN REFERENCE TO SHOTS FIRED. UPON ARRIVAL OFFICERS, OFFICERS CONDUCTED A WELFARE CHECK AT AN APARTMENT WHERE TWO INDIVIDUALS, BENJAMIN A. CUNNINGHAM, 28, OF LAWRENCEBURG AND CORIE J. WILLIAMS, 38, OF LAWRENCEBURG, WERE FOUND DECEASED WITH APPARENT GUNSHOT WOUNDS. AN INVESTIGATION WAS INITIATED AND EVIDENCE COLLECTED AT THE SCENE LED TO THE IDENTIFICATION OF THE SUSPECT, 22 YEAR OLD, SEBASTIAN W. ARZADON. ARZADON WAS CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS OF FIRST-DEGREE MURDER, ESPECIALLY AGGRAVATED BURGLARY, AND POSSESSION OF A FIREARM DURING THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY. ADDITIONAL CHARGES WILL BE PLACED AT A LATER DATE. ARZADON IS BEING HELD IN THE LAWRENCE COUNTY JAIL ON A 4.2 MILLION DOLLAR BOND AND WILL APPEAR IN LAWRENCE COUNTY GENERAL SESSIONS COURT ON JULY 2ND.
