CLARENCE ANDREW REMKE, 88, OF LAWRENCEBURG, DIED FRIDAY. HE WAS A US ARMY VETERAN, RETIRED FROM MURRAY OHIO, AND WAS A MEMBER OF SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH IN LAWRENCEBURG.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE: ANNA BELL STOCKARD REMKE; FOUR CHILDREN: ELLEN FELLMAN, EVELYN DOUGLAS, DAVID REMKE, AND DOUG REMKE, ALL OF NASHVILLE; SISTER: NELL REMKE OF LAWRENCEBURG; SEVEN GRANDCHILDREN, AND ONE GREAT-GRANDCHILD.

THE FUNERAL MASS FOR CLARENCE ANDREW REMKE WILL BE WEDNESDAY AT 10:30 AT SACRED HEART CHURCH IN LAWRENCEBURG, WITH BURIAL AT CALVARY CEMETERY WITH FULL MILITARY HONORS. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE VISITORS TUESDAY FROM 4 TO 7 AT NEAL FUNERAL HOME WITH A ROSARY SERVICE TO FOLLOW AT 7.

MEMORIALS MAY BE MADE TO THE ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION, SACRED HEART CHURCH, OR SACRED HEART CATHOLIC SCHOOL IN LAWRENCEBURG.
