LESTER BECKMAN, 84, OF LAWRENCEBURG, DIED FRIDAY. HE WAS A NATIVE OF LAWRENCE COUNTY, RETIRED FROM BECKMAN METAL WORKS AND BLACKSMITHING, SERVED IN THE US NATIONAL GUARD, AND WAS A MEMBER OF LAWRENCEBURG CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP CHURCH.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE: JOYCE KILLEN BECKMAN OF LAWRENCEBURG; SON: MICHAEL E. BECKMAN OF LEBANON; DAUGHTERS: DONNA CUNNINGHAM OF MT. PLEASANT, DIANA BECKMAN OF LAWRENCEBURG, DEBORAH FOREMAN OF COLUMBIA, AND TAMMY LUNA OF LEOMA; BROTHER: JAMES BECKMAN AND HIS SISTERS: JUNE SANDRELL, AND DORIS MORRIS, ALL OF LAWRENCEBURG; 11 GRANDCHILDREN, 26 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN, AND 6 GREAT-GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN.

THE FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE MONDAY AT 3 AT LORETTO MEMORIAL CHAPEL WITH BURIAL IN FAIRVIEW CEMETERY WITH MILITARY HONORS. VISITATION WILL BE MONDAY FROM 11 UNTIL 3 AT THE CHAPEL.
