Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Burns Ervin passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at the age of 65 surrounded by her children.
Betty was born October 21, 1954 to the late Warren Gilbert Burns and Ruth Hutton Burns. She grew up in the Campbellsville community and graduated from Giles County High School in 1972. She was a doting sister to Bruce, Bobby, and Beverly, whom she loved dearly. Betty was a faithful member of the Lynnville Church of Christ. She enjoyed her good works with the church and loved her church family. Betty spent her life serving the Lord, camping with her family, traveling with her best friends, the “B” sisters, and loving her children and grandchildren. Betty worked at State Farm Insurance in Pulaski, TN for 45 years. She loved her co-worker, Nikki Crews and boss, Tommy Harrison. She had special relationships with all of her customers and never met a stranger. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Every moment spent was full of fun, laughter, and love.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23rd from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 24th at 2:00pm at Lynnville Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren Gilbert and Ruth Hutton Burns, and her husband, James Thomas Ervin.
She is survived by her

Son, Jonathan McKinley Rose (Christie Jones) of Lynnville, TN
Grandchildren, Dillon Rose, Tyler Oliver, McKenzie Rose, and Bethany Oliver

Bonus Granddaughters, Tierney Valentine, Torri Vance, and Chloe and Addison Jones

8 nephews and nieces and 12 great nephews and nieces also survive.
