CHARLES EDWARD HUNT, 85, OF COLUMBIA, DIED WEDNESDAY. HE WAS A NATIVE OF LAUDERDALE COUNTY, AL, A DIESEL MECHANIC, A MINISTER, AND A MEMBER OF ST. JOSEPH FREEWILL BAPTIST CHURCH.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS THREE SONS: LARRY WAYNE HUNT OF CHRISTIANA, DENNIS RAY HUNT OF COLUMBIA AND EMMANUEL JOE HUNT OF COLUMBIA; ONE DAUGHTER: ELIZABETH ANN BOWERS OF CYPRESS INN; TWO BROTHERS: THOMAS HUNT OF GREENHILL AND WILLIAM LEO HUNT JR OF FLORENCE, AL; FOUR SISTERS: STELLA PRUITT OF LORETTO, DOROTHY ELLISON OF GREENHILL, AL, LORENE ROBERTS OF LAWRENCEBURG AND SANDRA TROUSDALE OF GREENHILL, ALABAMA; SEVEN GRANDCHILDREN, SIX GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND SIX GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.

THE GRAVESIDE SERVICES FOR CHARLES EDWARD HUNT WILL BE FRIDAY AT 1 AT EMMALINE STUTTS CEMETERY. LORETTO MEMORIAL CHAPEL IS ASSISTING THE FAMILY.
