Martha Rene Boyd Hannah of Pulaski passed away Sunday, January 17th at Ivy Crest Assisted Living, where she resided the past six years. She was born in Goodsprings, Tennessee on December 10, 1925 and was 95 years old.
Martha Rene was a member of First United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, United Methodist Women and American Legion Auxiliary. She was a retired teacher's aide at Pulaski Elementary School. She dedicated her life to taking care of others, especially family. She loved to play dominoes and work in the yard. Cooking was her specialty.
Graveside service will be Tuesday January 19, 2021 at 1:30 in the Giles Memory Garden in Pulaski, TN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to First United Methodist Church, 200 West Jefferson Street, Pulaski, TN 38478.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bertrand Hannah; her parents, lrmer and Buelah Croley Boyd; her brother, Ermer Gene Boyd and her sister Mary Elizabeth Boyd Pollett.
She is survived by three children: Elaine Hannah Spivy (Allen) of Antioch, Gwen Hannah Moore (Donnie) of Pulaski, Ken Hannah (Caroline) of Murfreesboro. A sister, Mable Boyd Merritt and sister-in-law, Chloe Beasley Boyd.
There are twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, nine great, great grandchildren and one great, great, great grandchild.
Several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends also survive.
