OTTO HAMMOND, 91, OF LEOMA, DIED TUESDAY. HE WAS A NATIVE OF LAUDERDALE COUNTY, AL., AN UNITED STATES NAVAL VETERAN, A MEMBER OF THE RETIRED TEACHERS ASSOCIATION, A MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN LEGION, A MEMBER OF THE LORETTO MASONIC LODGE, AND A MEMBER OF ANTIOCH UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE: MARGARET CREWS HAMMOND; ONE DAUGHTER: SHARON MYRICK HINES OF LAWRENCEBURG; FOUR BROTHERS: LEO HAMMOND OF WICHITA FALLS, TX, CLEO AND LEO HAMMOND OF LAWRENCEBURG, BOBBY HAMMOND OF MALVERN, AK,; TWO SISTERS: JOYCE CROSS BOWERY OF ETHRIDGE AND BETTY JANE EIGHNER OF TULSA, OK; ONE GRANDCHILD AND ONE GREAT GRANDCHILD.

THE FUNERAL SERVICE FOR OTTO HAMMOND WILL BE THURSDAY AT 3 AT ANTIOCH UNITED METHODIST CHURCH WITH MASONIC RITES. THE BURIAL WILL FOLLOW AT FREEMON CEMETERY WITH MILITARY HONORS. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE VISITORS THURSDAY FROM 12 TO 3.
