CLARA FAY (NEAL) WHEELER, OFTEN CALLED 'GRAM', PASSED AWAY ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2021. SHE WAS BORN IN MONTEREY, TN ON AUGUST 16, 1942 TO THE LATE WILLIAM WRIGHT AND WILLIE MAE NEAL. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS AND SIBLINGS, SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER SON, MACK E. WHEELER, JR. EARLIER THIS YEAR.


A DEVOTED FOLLOWER OF JESUS CHRIST, FAY WAS A PRECIOUS WIFE, MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER, AUNT, MENTOR, AND FRIEND. SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER DEVOTED HUSBAND OF NEARLY 60 YEARS, MACK E. WHEELER, SR.; DAUGHTERS ANN BRANDT, KAREN (GLENN) BAUCOM, AND CATHY (MAX) RATLIFF; DAUGHTER-IN-LAW PINKY J. WHEELER; GRANDCHILDREN BENJAMIN (AMANDA), ELIZABETH, ERIKA, MICHAEL (NOELLE), DYLAN AND ALEXIS; GREAT-GRANDDAUGHTER CORAL ROSE; SISTER-IN-LAW JEANNINE WESTERVELT; AND MANY NIECES AND NEPHEWS.


FAY LOVED DEEPLY, SINCERELY, AND UNCONDITIONALLY AND MOST ENJOYED LIFE WHEN SPENDING TIME WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS, TALKING, LAUGHING, AND SHARING A MEAL TOGETHER. SHE SERVED OTHERS BEFORE HERSELF AND WAS ALWAYS AVAILABLE WITH A LISTENING EAR, A CARING HEART, AND LOVING WORDS OF WISDOM.

OUR FAMILY WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO CELEBRATE HER BEAUTIFUL LIFE WITH US. FAY'S VISITATION WILL BE AT THE SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME AT 5110 GALLATIN RD., MADISON TENNESSEE 37216 ON FRIDAY, SEPT. 10, 4:00-8:00 PM AND SATURDAY MORNING, SEPT. 11, 10:00-12:00 WITH THE CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE AT 12:00 NOON. BURIAL IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING AT THE SPRING HILL CEMETERY.
