A TUESDAY EVENING FIRE WAS TO BLAME FOR THE LOSS OF A SUMMERTOWN BUILDING. MEMBERS OF THE SUMMERTOWN, ETHRIDGE, HENRYVILLE, AND HOHENWALD FIRE DEPARTMENTS WERE CALLED TO A STRUCTURE FIRE JUST BEFORE 8:00 PM AT A TWO STORY BUILDING LOCATED ON THE FARM IN SOUTHERN LEWIS COUNTY. HEAVY FIRE WAS VISIBLE WHEN CREWS ARRIVED ON SCENE. DESPITE BEST EFFORTS BY FIREFIGHTERS, THE BUILDING WAS DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS. THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION.
